What Fieldwise accesses
Fieldwise uses your active Salesforce browser session to make API calls directly to the Salesforce org displayed in the extension. It accesses Salesforce metadata and permissions needed to provide the features you choose to use, including field-level security, object access, system permissions, and custom permissions.
Fieldwise does not require a separate Fieldwise account or sign-in.
What stays local
Fieldwise keeps the following data in Chrome extension local storage on your device: saved snapshots and audits, local apply history, labels, settings, and display preferences. Larger audit and permission captures are retained locally in manageable chunks to support high-field-count orgs. This storage supports the extension's comparison and history features.
Fieldwise does not transmit this locally stored data to Axiom Gray or to a third-party service. Exports are created only when you request them and are saved locally by your browser.
What we do not collect
- Salesforce usernames, passwords, or credentials
- Salesforce session tokens outside the active browser session
- Salesforce metadata, FLS data, audit data, snapshots, exports, or history
- Business email addresses for marketing
- Usage analytics or behavioural tracking from the extension
How requests work
API requests are sent from your browser to your connected Salesforce org. Axiom Gray is not in the request path and does not operate a service that receives the Salesforce data used by Fieldwise.
Chrome permissions
Fieldwise requests only the browser permissions needed to operate its side panel and connect to the Salesforce org you choose to open. Chrome storage is used for local settings, audit records, snapshots, and history. Host access and the active session are used so the browser can make requests directly to that Salesforce org. Local storage capacity is used to retain larger audit records on your device.
Your choices
You can delete saved Fieldwise data within the extension where controls are available, clear the extension's local storage through Chrome, or uninstall the extension. Removing or clearing this local storage deletes the locally stored records and preferences.
